1858 $2 1/2 MS64 NGC. The 1858 quarter eagle is rare in all grades; a mere nine pieces have been assigned an MS64 grade by NGC and PCGS combined, and just three coins have been seen finer. This near-Gem displays glorious luster and beautiful orange-gold and mint-green coloration, complemented by sharply struck design features, though for complete accuracy we mention that minor softness is visible on the eagle's neck and right (left facing) leg feathers. Small marks on Liberty's cheek prevents an even higher grade. Census: 4 in 64, 2 finer (1/07).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
