1858 $2 1/2 MS63 PCGS. While not an especially scarce coin, the 1858 is significant in Uncirculated grades because so few early (pre-1880) quarter eagles were saved in Mint State. This is a highly lustrous coin with thick mint frost over each side. A bit softly struck in the centers, there are a few small marks in the center of the obverse that explain the MS63 grade. Exceptionally attractive color is seen throughout with significant portions of lilac interspersed with deep reddish-golden. Population: 11 in 63, 6 finer (10/06).

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
