<B>(1857-60) Counterstamped Group Lot, Dr. G.G. Wilkins, Pittsfield, NH, Rulau NH-106.</B></I> Consists of three U.S. large cents, each with a single punch. Dr. Wilkins, according to researcher Dr. Gregory Brunk, was the most prolific counterstamper in the United States and may have struck over 100,000 coins. Also includes a second group of three counterstamps: an 1853 large cent counterstamped Athol Mass; J. Pech on a Draped Bust cent; and Riggs on a high grade 1807 large cent.
