<B>1857<1C> MS65 NGC.</B></I> This satiny and intricately struck Gem displays consistent medium tan-gold toning. Careful examination beneath a loupe locates a hair-thin vertical mark in the upper left obverse field, but the preservation is otherwise outstanding. Flying Eagle cents were struck in significant numbers, but the type becomes scarce at the MS65 level.
