<B>1857 1C Doubled Die Obverse MS65 NGC.</B></I> VP-001. FS-003. The die doubling is most obvious on the eye of the eagle and the CA in AMERICA. As such, this is a popular and widely collected variety. This Gem is surely this is one of the finest known. The surfaces show lovely, light golden-tan color with just a hint of red.
