Shipping costs are the buyers sole responsibility. You will receive an invoice for your items including shipping on smaller items. In most cases, the shipping is calculated for parcel post to be cost effective. You may arrange your own shipping if you like.

Storage: Unless prior arrangements are made, pick-up within 7 working days of the auction is requested, or a $10.00 per day storage fee will be charged.

If you will require addtional insurance you must purchase your own personal ryder policy for the shipment with your Insurance Company.

Payment Details:
Payment: All items purchased in person must be paid for on sale day. All items purchased via absentee or phone bid must be paid for within three business days of sale date.
If a buyer fails to contact Barrett Street Auction Center within 3 business days following the sale, the credit card used to secure the bid will be charged the amount of the invoice. If paying by check, BSAC reserves the right to hold the item(s) until the check has cleared. Payment can be made by cash, approved certified funds, Visa, or MC or pay pal sent to tgiroux11@msn.com
Ownership: Item ownership is conveyed immediately following the fall of the auctioneer's hammer. While we try to handle and store all items with great care, BSAC will have no liability for any loss or damage to an item after the hammer has fallen.
Packing and Shipping: Packing and shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. BSAC will provide the information necessary for professional packing and shipping arrangements to be made. BSAC will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.

Absentee and Telephone Bids: Arrangements for absentee or phone bidding can be made by calling 757-615-7239. All bids must be secured with a credit card number. You will be faxed a left bid form and you will be required to sign and return the fax bid form 3 hours before Auction. (12:00) Noon Eastern Time 02-28-09. All absentee bids will be executed in a fair, competitive and confidential manner. While every effort is made to execute and honor absentee and phone bids, BSAC is not responsible for failure to execute a bid. All bids are time stamped. In case of identical bids, the first bid received will take precedence. Where appropriate, written bids will be rounded down to the nearest amount consistent with the auctioneer's bidding increments.
