1856 N-3 R1 Italic 5 MS62. Lustrous bluish steel brown with faded mint red covering 20% of the obverse, about 5% of the reverse. There are a few trivial contact marks on the chin and jawline and a speck of carbon in the field over star 2. TDS, die state g, with a strong rim cud break at star 12-13. Second finest of about 3 dozen known with the cud. Removed from an NGC slab graded MS64BN (NGC label included). DWH #2197.
