1856-C $2 1/2 --Ex-Jewelry--ANACS. VF20 Details. Variety 17-J. Bright yellow-gold surfaces display wisps of light green and rose undertones. Generally nice detail is seen on the design features, considering the issue's reputation for a poor strike. Slight surface deformation is noted between star 2 and Liberty's mouth. This is one of the rarer Charlotte Mint quarter eagles, which had a mintage of only 7,913 coins. Really not a bad looking coin, despite the ANACS disclaimer.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
