<B>1856 1C PR65 PCGS.</B></I> Snow-9. A beautiful Gem of this American numismatic classic. The strike is pinpoint-sharp, and there is no indication of the strike doubling that sometimes affects this date. Orange hues grace protected areas, while the open fields exhibit olive and rose tints. The obverse features splendid cartwheel luster, and the field shows little reflectivity. In contrast, the reverse is noticeably reflective, but also exhibits satin luster. Both sides are unabraded, and the conservatively assessed grade is determined solely by completely unimportant carbon traces.
