1855 P1C Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-168 Original, Pollock-193, R.4, PR62 Brown PCGS. The obverse shows a hook-neck eagle surrounded by thirteen stars with the date below. The reverse is similar in design to the large Cent, but the wreath is smaller. Struck in copper or bronze with a plain edge. This is a richly toned example with even crimson-brown color throughout. The strike is bold, if not sharp in all areas, and the eye appeal is considerably above average for the assigned grade. A small area of obverse discoloration, however, is noted in the obverse field above the eagle's head, and there are a few not overly distracting pinscratches on the same side before and after the eagle.
