Lustrous bluish steel and olive with underlying mellowed mint red covering about 15% of the planchet. Satiny mint frost covers this cent and the eye appeal is outstanding. No spots or stains, only a few microscopic contact marks including a tiny tick on the jawline over the throat and a few diagonal hairlines on the neck. MDS, die state b. The fine die lines in the field at the inner curl are gone. Our grade is MS63, tied for CC#2 in the Grellman census. The attribution and Great Pacific Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. 406176.65/38112604 Ex Thomas D. Reynolds-Denis W.
