Frosty bluish steel brown with slightly faded mint red covering nearly a third of the surfaces, mostly on the reverse. A choice mint state cent except for several carbon spots, including a small one at the dentils over star 6, another in the dentils over the first S in STATES, one on the left side of the M in AMERICA, and another on the leaf under the T in CENT. Satiny mint luster covers the fields on both sides. EDS with star 6 mostly clogged, the so-called 12-star die state, although this one might reasonably be called a 12.5-star die state. EAC grade net MS60+.
