<B>1855-D $5 Large D XF40 PCGS.</B></I> Variety 32-AA. An uncommonly attractive XF survivor that bespeaks originality. The centers display the usual softness endemic to this poorly produced Dahlonega issue, though both wings of the eagle are surprisingly sharp. The warm orange-gold surfaces retain traces of subtle luster and display far fewer marks than the grade might suggest.
