<B>1855 $50 Kellogg & Co. Fifty Dollar MS69 PCGS.</B></I> One of 200 Uncirculated pieces produced on September 12, 2001, which was the exact 144th anniversary of the sinking of the S.S. Central America. This is a relic medal struck from unsold and melted down Kellogg & Humbert gold ingots recovered from the SSCA shipwreck. The Uncirculated pieces are much scarcer than proofs. A flawless example with a razor-sharp strike and an obverse dab or two of peach toning. The box, case, and certificate of authenticity are included.
