1855 3CS MS66 PCGS. Three Cent Silvers of the Type Two design are the most conditionally challenging
1855 3CS MS66 PCGS. Three Cent Silvers of the Type Two design are the most conditionally challenging issues in the series. Coins of this type were produced from 1854 through 1858, and the 1855 boasts the lowest mintage of this era at 139,000 pieces. Easily qualifying for Condition Census standing, the surfaces of this golden tinged Gem are silky smooth with rippling mint luster. The strike is a little soft in select peripheral areas, but the centers are sharp, and all major features are readily evident. NGC and PCGS combined have seen only nine coins in MS66 and none finer (1/03). Important notice: We expect to be auctioning lots at the rate of 200-250 per hour. On occasion eBay live bid software cannot keep up with the pace of the auctions where 4-5 lots per minute can hammer down, so we recommend that you place a realistic absentee bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment. Also please note that all Heritage/CAA lots purchased through eBay Live carry a 20% Buyer's Premium. Please make sure you read the Terms and Conditions.
