<B>1855 $3 MS62 ANACS.</B></I> The 1855 three dollar came with a mintage of 50,555 business strikes, and David Bowers, in his three dollar gold reference book, estimates that 160 to 200 Mint State coins to be extant. PCGS and NGC, on the other hand, have certified about 350 Uncirculated coins, several of which, of course, are likely to be resubmissions. The ANACS MS62 coin in this lot displays bright yellow-gold surfaces with traces of light green and apricot. The fields show some prooflike tendencies, and the design elements are well impressed.
