1855 $10 Wass Molitor Ten Dollar AU55 PCGS. Ex: S.S. Central America. SSCA 7278. K-6, High R.5. Well struck for the issue, with distinct types and ample glowing luster. Dashes of orange patina are noted here and there, along with an area of deep russet near the coronet tip. A curved mark is noted left of the date. The circular raised field about the second 5 in the date is as made, and is characteristic of the issue. The coiner apparently plugged an old, unused die to indicate the correct year of manufacture. Housed in a gold label holder. A certificate of authenticity is included with the lot. Listed on page 357 of the 2007 Guide Book.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
