<B>1854<P1C> One Cent, Judd-160, Pollock-187, R.4, PR64 Brown PCGS.</B></I> The obverse is similar to that used on regular issue 1854 cents, except there are no stars. The reverse has a small wreath, but is otherwise close to the contemporary Large cent. Struck in copper or bronze with a plain edge. The deep chocolate-brown surfaces reveal crimson and violet colors when the coin is rotated under a light. Liberty's profile is strike doubled with a relatively wide spread, and there are faint clash marks about the portrait. A strike through resembling a piece of cleaning wire is seen in the left obverse field. Population: 11 in 64 Brown, 7 finer (7/06).
