Half Dollars 1854-o Arrows. Doubling at Date. NGC graded Mint State 63. <b>A second outstanding specimen that is also richly toned (deep champagne to russet on a dappled gray "old-silver" base. Though not quite as superb as the Mint State 65 we offer of this issue, the qualifications for Mint State 63 are still stringent enough to be revealed in its crisp detail, sleek frostiness, and unsullied originality. Most of the stars, along with the date numerals show minor "ghosting", possibly the result of the hubbing process when a working die is produced by means of several high-pressure blows from a Master Die. This effect is also referred to as "halos" -- see p. 108 of The Complete Guide to Liberty Seated Half Dollars by Randy Wiley and Bill Bugert for further explanation.</b> <p align="center">Superior Galleries was founded in 1929 and has been a leader in
