<B>1854-O $3 XF45 PCGS.</B></I> A perennially popular type coin, the 1854-O has numerous attributes in its favor: It is a one-year subtype along with the 1854 P- and D-mint issues because of the small-size ONE DOLLAR denomination; it is, of course, a mintmarked piece from the first year of the three dollar series; and it is the only O-mint issue of the entire three dollar coinage. The present piece shows considerable luster remaining on the yellow-orange surfaces, which show a bit of light field chatter but no singular distractions.
