<B>1854-O 25C Huge O--Cleaned--ANACS. XF45 Details.</B></I> Walter Breen (1988) writes about the 1854-O, Huge O: "This mintmark differs from all others in the series, being both larger and grossly thicker throughout, and fairly crude in shape ... Most likely this die was received at New Orleans without mintmark, and the O added by hand." He says the variety is "very rare."
