1854 G$1 Type Two MS64 PCGS. The Type Two or Small Indian Head gold dollars are always in demand by date and type collectors, as well as advanced specialists. Although an attractive design in the eye of most collectors, James Barton Longacre did not think this one through, and problems with the strike plague most survivors. This piece is an exception to that rule, as the reverse has a full and complete date, and all other design features are similarly well defined. It is a highly lustrous yellow-gold example with traces of olive coloration on the reverse. A lint mark on the obverse curves over ICA and through the top of the final letter.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
