<B>1853 G$1 Gold Dollar--Broadstruck and Partial Collar--AU53 PCGS.</B></I> The design is essentially intact, but a broad area of unstruck surface is noted at 4:30. This unstruck area is recessed on the obverse, and raised on the reverse, where it presumably partly wrapped around the collar of the reverse die.
