1853 Known to have actually been issued in 1853, because one was recovered from the wreck of the sidewheel steamer S.S. Winfield Scott, which departed on its final voyage December 1, 1853. Same obverse, reverse now reads DERIB. For this die, M. Deriberpie squeezed in another letter of his surname. Very Rare. Even gold color but for slight bluish toning at lower reverse, even wear. PCGS AU50. Only 4 coins known in mint state. Serial# 26897451 Totheroh Collection HKA#63643
