1853 Similar obverse, stars very close to border except 2nd and 3rd; bust point aims directly at 1st; same reverse. Also issued by Deriberpie. Very Rare. Plate Coin, first edition, Breen-Gillio, California Pioneer Fractional Gold. Walter Breen graded this coin as follows: "brilliant choice Uncirculated, splendid, somewhat Prooflike; to the naked eye a gem, though under a strong glass it shows two almost invisible pin scratches.
