<B>1853-D<$5> Large D AU50 NGC.</B></I> Variety 29-V. The left upright of the D mintmark is about centered over the small space between V and E in FIVE. Faded luster emanates from attractive mustard-gold surfaces. The strike is typically soft on the lower left obverse denticles, most of the obverse stars, the fletchings, and the eagle's right (facing) talons. No singular abrasions are noted.
