Half Dimes 1853-o Arrows. NGC graded Mint State 64. <b>Toned is streaks of lilac, blue-violet and champagne gold, with additional charcoal coloration on the upper reverse. Surfaces appear virtually flawless. Arrows were applied to the sides of the date on half dimes, dimes, quarters and half dollars struck from 1853 to 1855 to designate a reduction in the weight of the planchets. Half dimes struck at the New Orleans Mint bearing this distinction are quite rare and desirable, yet carry only a modest premium in the offered condition over a much more abundant Philadelphia Mint example.</b> <p align="center">Superior Galleries was founded in 1929 and has been a leader in
