<B>1853 $5 MS63 PCGS.</B></I> Much like the 1852, the high mintage (by No Motto half eagle standards) 1853 is available in circulated grades, yet noticeably scarce in Mint State. This coin exhibits lustrous surfaces and orange-golden patina. A few small marks, especially on the obverse, account for the Select grade. Sharply struck for the issue and pleasingly original.
