Addressed to members of the Whig party discussing the viability of Pennsylvania's electoral votes as they pertain to the upcoming presidential election. Signed in type by the National Whig Executive Committee and countersigned in type by "Fitz Henry Warren," as secretary. Printed on sheet with embossed "Wackuset Mills" blind stamp. Light fold wear. Accompanied by a 12mo autographed postal cover bearing the signature of "Senator J[ackson] Morton / USS" with Washington D.C. cancellation stamp dated October 22 [1852]. Addressed to "Mr. J. Cressell...Ohio". Bears toning, creases and light soiling.
