<B>1852 PG$1 Gold Dollar, Judd-148, Pollock-176, Low R.7, PR64 NGC.</B></I> Ex: Simpson. Simply designed with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around the outer portion of the obverse with the date at the bottom. The reverse has DOLLAR at the top with a wreath around the lower margin. Struck in copper-nickel and perforated in the center, with a plain edge. Probably struck from the late 1850s onward for the collector trade.
