<B>1852-O $2 1/2 AU50 PCGS.</B></I> Breen-6219. The "Extra Heavy O" variety, which was apparently punched unusually deep into the die, or was perhaps engraved by hand onto the working reverse die at New Orleans. This scarce New Orleans quarter eagle has bright orange toning and a few wispy field grazes. The lower half of the eagle and the curl beneath the ear are typically brought up. Housed in a green label holder.
