1852 N-14 R1 Repunched Date PCGS graded MS65 Red & Brown. Lustrous mint red fading to steel brown on the highpoints, at least two-thirds of the original red remaining. The only marks are a couple very light, thin nicks on the cheek and faint traces of an old fingerprint under the chin. Otherwise this cent is a gem. E-MDS, die state b early. The repunching on the date is clear on all but the 8. Our grade is MS64, tied for CC#1 honors in the Grellman census. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. Pop 70; 5 fine in 66RB.
