<B>1852-C $2 1/2 AU55 PCGS.</B></I> Variety 14-I. This piece is an attractive example for the grade, and offers the viewer a pleasing representation of the Charlotte Mint quarter eagle of 1852. Both sides display smooth surfaces that are minimally marked, with a modest degree of even highpoint wear. A solitary nick is located just to the right of the date, and the usual striking weakness is noted on the eagle's leg feathers and talons.
