AU Details.</B></I> The 1851-O is an interesting issue, partly due to the surrounding issues: the previous New Orleans half eagles were struck in 1847, and the next group would not come until 1854. This modestly worn orange-gold piece displays typical weakness in the centers, though the peripheral elements are characteristically sharp.
