1851 N-35 R6- MS60.
1851 N-35 R6- MS60. Frosty light steel brown with delicate overtones of bluish steel toning in the right obverse field. Satiny mint frost covers both sides. The only marks are a tiny tick on the nostril and another on the edge of the bust over the right top of the 5 in the date, plus two minute ticks in the field close over the tip of the nose. None of these marks is at all distracting and the eye appeal of this cent is excellent for the grade. LDS, die state b. There are clearly defined rim cud breaks at MER, the stem tip, and below the ribbon. CC#1 for this rare variety, the only mint state example known. DWH #2848.
Estimated Value $1,000-UP.
