1851 N-14 R2 First 1 Repunched, PCGS graded MS63 BrownLustrous steel and light olive brown with delicate overtones of light bluish steel. The only notable contact mark is a nick on three dentils over the first A in AMERICA. Looks mint state but there is a hint of friction on the very highest points of the devices. MDS, die state b. The repunching under the base of the 1 is faint but still visible, especially at the left end. A shallow low spot (caused by debris on the die) covers the bust and truncation, and a couple more low spots show inside the wreath. Our grade is AU58+. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label.Certificate Number: 406686.63/30481415Pedigree: Ex McCawley & Grellman Auctions/Goldbergs 8/31/2014:537-Fred H.
