1851<1C> N-24, Low R.3. MS65 Brown NGC. MS60 EAC. Grellman state b. The obverse has faint die lines on Liberty's cheek and neck. A few of the other die lines and points are weakly visible. This is an extraordinary example of the variety, with pleasingly toned surfaces that exhibit glossy brown obverse coloration, augmented by orange mint luster near the devices. The reverse has considerable light blue color with pale gold and wisps of faded red mint luster. Both sides are entirely free of blemishes, and the design features are very crisply detailed. Delisting his #32 was an arbitrary decision made long ago, but one of his numbers had to go."
Ex: WNO; Henry C. Hines (9/12/1935); Floyd T. Starr (Stack's, 6/1984), lot 687; Robinson S.
