<B>1850-O $20 XF40 NGC.</B></I> Most remaining 1859-O double eagles exist in Very Fine to About Uncirculated grade. Uncirculated coins are rare; PCGS has seen none, and NGC has graded four, all in the lower grades of Mint State. Bright yellow-gold surfaces characterize this XF40 example that displays relatively good design detail, though portions of Liberty's hair are worn.
