<B>1849 Letter With Numismatic Content.</B></I> One page, 8.25” x 10.5”, Baltimore, June 21, 1849, to T. J. Ames, Baltimore Railroad cancellation, with integral address leaf. The letter reads in part: “<I>…a nail keg containing bogus cents which the tender conscience of the distiller would not allow him to pass as coin…Pease may not have such scruples, let Hendry have an eye on the keg when it comes</B></I>”. Light foxing, two dark spots on the address leaf, some chips along the edge, with the usual fold creases, else good. <I>Ex. Henry E.
