<B>1849 G$1 No L MS65 PCGS.</B></I> Repunching is noticeable on about half of the obverse stars. This pleasing Gem displays shimmering surfaces that have variegated shades of ice-blue and apricot-orange coloration. A few wispy grazes in the obverse fields preclude a higher grade, but abrasions are nonexistent. The No L gold dollar is scarcer than either of the other two Philadelphia Mint varieties from this year.
