<B>1849-C $5 AU58 PCGS.</B></I> Variety 12-F. The '49-C is one of the best-produced issues from the popular Charlotte Mint. The striking details are not completely brought up on this coin, yet the piece has a pleasing overall appearance, partly due to the lovely peach toning that yields to sea-green near the borders. There are small, scattered marks on each side of this lightly worn near-Mint example, as expected for the grade.
