1849 C-1 R2. PCGS graded MS-64 Brown. Very attractive light chocolate brown with traces of mint red remaining on both sides, mostly on the reverse. Sharply struck EDS, Manley state 1.0, with hard, slightly reflective fields on both sides giving this piece excellent eye appeal. Essentially flawless. The best identifying marks are two microscopic ticks on the jawline. Our grade is MS63. The attribution and Carvin Goodridge provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; tied for finest graded for the variety (#35318).
