<B>1848 Timothy T. Jenkins Autograph Letter Signed</B></I> “<I>Timothy T. Jenkins</B></I>”. One page, 8.25” x 10.75”, New York, June 16, 1848, to Mr. S. J. Bruse, Oneida Castle, New York. Timothy Jenkins was district attorney for Oneida County before serving as a Congressman. This letter finds Jenkins taking care of some unspecified family business on behalf of an “<I>Uncle Timothy</B></I>”. The letter is complete with integral address leaf, and still retains the old hand cancelled postage stamp. With the usual fold creases, else very legible and in fine condition. <I>From the collection of Henry E.
