<B>1848-O H10C MS66 NGC.</B></I> Large O. All of the high grade Large Os we have sold over the past few years have been either V-6 or V-7, but this unspecified die marriage utilizes a different obverse die altogether. Here the date is placed high and to the right, with the tip of Liberty's shield pointing to the serif of the 1. The coin itself is a scintillating snowy-white example with die clashing clearly evident about the portrait. Regardless of die pairing, the 1848-O is very scarce this nice.
