<B>1848 $2 1/2 MS62 NGC.</B></I> Boldly struck, save for typical partial weakness on the eagle's neck and left (facing) leg feathers, this pleasing Mint State quarter eagle is lustrous and bright, with wheat-gold and lime-green coloration over both sides. Wispy hairlines and a couple of small abrasions limit the grade. A low-mintage issue; rare in Mint State.
