<B>1847-O $2 1/2 AU58 NGC.</B></I> Doug Winter states that the 1847-O quarter eagles are "among the most poorly struck New Orleans gold coins." While the current piece displays strike weakness on the central obverse details, it is relatively well struck in other areas.
