<B>1847-C $2 1/2 AU55 NGC.</B></I> Variety 8-F. A Choice AU quarter eagle with bright yellow-gold surfaces that exhibit a subtle greenish tint, along with traces of luster in the recesses. Good definition is apparent on the design elements, except for minor softness on the eagle's right (left facing) leg and arrow feathers.
