Number 7 of 30 examples listed by Richard Coleman in his <I>Monograph of Second Restrike Proof Half Cents.</B></I> Walter Breen commented that most of these Second Restrikes were made for customers of coin dealer William Idler, after they missed acquiring examples of the First Restrike. His source for this statement is unidentified, but if such a source exists, it is probably from a 19th century coin dealer "house organ," or possibly it is a commentary from Steve Nagy. The reverse is rotated a few degrees clockwise.
