<B>1846 H10C XF45 ANACS.</B></I> V-1, the only variety of the year for business strikes. Proofs are from a different obverse die. A rare issue with only 27,000 pieces struck, and one of the key dates in the Seated half dime series. This example is boldly struck, if typically weak on the top of Liberty's head, with untoned centers, dark-green patina near the obverse periphery, and champagne-brown and dark-green toning near the reverse borders.
