<B>1846 H10C --Tooled, Whizzed, Retoned--ANACS. AU50 Details.</B></I> V-1, the only known dies. The 1846 is the key date of the Stars Obverse half dime series. This impaired example shows deep purple-rose and electric-blue coloration. The fields are faintly granular from whizzing. Faint tooling marks are noted above Liberty's left (facing) shoulder and in the lower right obverse field.
